Why does my bag have a batch #?Nick’s Homemade Jerky is HOMEMADE. Inherent in the homemade process comes a slight variation in piece sizes, thickness, and moisture. However, every batch will have a nice jerk of a texture, and will be LOADED with that flavor you cannot get enough of.
I don’t have Paypal. What methods of payment do you accept?Yes. You can use any major credit card through our Paypal checkout without having to sign up for a Paypal account.

How do you ship and how long does it take?We currently ship via USPS, and include USPS “track and confirm” with each order. $3 shipping on orders of 1-3 bags, and $5 shipping on each 4 pack. What is the difference between mild, medium and hot?MILD – Our MILD flavor is jam packed with all the flavors of our signature Midwest Recipe, only missing the heat. It could be considered more of a straightforward Teryaki flavor, though loaded with that addictively delicious mouth-watering flavor unique to Nick’s Homemade Jerky.
MEDIUM – Our MEDIUM flavor is Nick’s Homemade Jerky perfection – IF you like spice! Though not overly heated, our MEDIUM does pack a punch!
HOT – HOT!!! Do you really like HOT? Our HOT should be described as “PROLONGED HEAT”, though managing not to mask or take away from the THRILL, TRIUMPH, and SATISFACTION you get from our unique and addictive Midwest Recipe!
While we do believe our Midwest Recipe is as good as it gets (and therefore why we only have one favor currently ) we do plan on creating a variety of new, interesting, TASTY flavors. Stop back by often to see what we’ve come up with!
Are your beef products approved by the FDA?Nope! Nick sells his jerky to his close circle of friends and all costs paid for beef jerky are made as a donation, which must be approved by the purchaser on the checkout page. If you’re not okay with beef jerky that isn’t FDA approved, please do not purchase food products from the site.
